Award-winning Tonic Arts receives four highly commended honours at prestigious healthcare awards
We are thrilled to have received four highly commended honours at the prestigious Building Better Healthcare Awards 2021.
These national awards celebrate the best in creating positive change within the healthcare sector.
We were awarded:
- Patient’s Choice Award (2020): The Tiled Corridor, Royal Edinburgh Hospital
- Patient’s Choice Award (2021): Common Thread: NHS Voices in a Time of Crisis
- Best Collaborative Arts Project (Static) (2020): The Tiled Corridor, Royal Edinburgh Hospital
- Best Collaborative Arts Project (Static) (2021): Beyond Walls, Royal Hospital for Children and Young People and the Department of Clinical Neurosciences

The Building Better Healthcare Awards celebrate outstanding achievements and innovation in healthcare and recognise the people leading the way across the sector. This year’s awards continued to honour the innovation, architecture, people, products and services that are helping to transform patient care in both the NHS and private sector. The event celebrated winners from both 2020 and 2021 in a double celebration at The Brewery in London.
