Tonic Arts launches Common Thread staff Covid films
Common Thread – NHS Voices in a time of Crisis was a filmmaking project that invited NHS Lothian staff to tell their stories of Covid-19.
A series of nine short films was created and showcased by 25 NHS Lothian staff members, celebrating the skills, dedication and creativity of NHS Lothian staff.
PoliFilm Media filmmaker Tomás Sheridan worked with staff to create the films on mobile phones, tablets and laptops.
From an Oncology Nurse’s bike journey home, to an Intensive Care Team de-stressing, to an insight into Covid vaccine trials, the Common Thread series of nine short videos gives a unique perspective into the lives of NHS staff, and how lockdown has changed us professionally, at work and in how we relate to and communicate with one another.
