We are thrilled to have won an award at the prestigious Building Better Healthcare Awards 2022!

We are delighted to have been announced Joint Winner with our Glasgow NHS colleagues for the Best Collaborative Arts Project (Static) at the Building Better Healthcare awards for our arts enhancements at the Edinburgh Haematology Centre, Western General Hospital. Curated by Arabella Harvey of partners Round Table Projects, this recognition is testament to the hard work of our dedicated team and the importance of arts in improving health and wellbeing.

“Our Tonic Arts programme enriches the experience and enhances the environments of NHS Lothian. We work collaboratively with our colleagues and partners to pioneer a culture in which the arts are valued across the service, using creativity to improve and support the health and wellbeing of staff, patients and visitors.”

Susan Grant, Tonic Arts Manager

The Building Better Healthcare Awards celebrate outstanding achievements and innovation in healthcare and recognise the people leading the way across the sector. This year’s awards continued to honour the innovation, architecture, people, products and services that are helping to transform patient care in both the NHS and private sector. The event celebrated the winners at The Brewery in London.
