Join our team of dedicated volunteers and help bring the arts to life for patients, staff, and visitors across NHS Lothian.
Our Tonic Arts Programme aims to creatively enhance environments and enrich experiences across NHS Lothian. We use creativity to to have a positive impact on health and wellbeing, working across artistic disciplines and mediums. We’re seeking volunteers to help support the work we do.
Current Opportunities:
Volunteer Musicians
We’re looking for skilled and experienced musicians to bring the joy of live music to patients across NHS Lothian hospitals.
As a Volunteer Musician, you’ll perform solo in hospital wards, helping to create a calming and uplifting environment for patients and staff. You’ll need to bring your own instrument, have a repertoire that allows you to play for 30–40 minutes, and be confident performing independently. A weekly commitment for at least 6 months is required.
