Editions
An exhibition showcasing a selection of original limited-edition artworks brought to the hospital by Tonic Arts in partnership with Edinburgh Printmakers.
The work selected here was chosen to display the diverse range of printmaking techniques offered at EP: this includes lithography, screenprint, etching, and monotype. As an open access studio, they have a strong history of supporting local and international artists to produce diverse work and reach other communities far and wide in Edinburgh and across Scotland and the UK. Edinburgh Printmakers brings people together to enjoy, learn and value the art of printmaking and explore their creative voice within the form.
About Edinburgh Printmakers
Edinburgh Printmakers is a creative centre for printmaking and the visual arts located in Fountainbridge. Established in 1967 as the first open-access studio in Britain, our facilities include two gallery spaces, printmaking and digital studios, darkroom, and learning studio. Edition is a showcase of works by studio members and artists affiliated with Edinburgh Printmakers. The idea behind this exhibition is to celebrate the exciting and eclectic work made by the diverse and engaging community of artists at EP. Community sits at the core of the EP mission as a vehicle to advance printmaking and contribute to the cultural and creative life of the nation.
