Artists Within

Artists Within is an exhibition of artwork by NHS Lothian staff.

We have had the pleasure of working in partnership with a diverse group of NHS Lothian staff to bring this vibrant mixed media exhibition to our hospital exhibitions programme.

Initiated and inspired by Chandru Kaliaperumal, Consultant Neurosurgeon at the Royal Hospital for Children and Young People and the Department of Clinical Neurosciences, the exhibition presents the work of twelve staff members from across disciplines and departments. Some have studied art, some haven’t, but all testify to the value of making art alongside their professional roles, the part this plays in contributing to their self-care, and the importance of having a creative outlet for their artist within.
