Tonic Arts Network: Using Art and Design to Transform Healthcare Spaces
We’d love you to join the Tonic Arts network event on Tuesday, 10 June 2025 for an online session to discover more about the current NHS Lothian St John’s Hospital and East/Midlothian CAMHS design projects and hear about newly developed resources and tools to help staff improve their department and ward spaces.

What to expect
- Designer Stuart Gordon Smith will present an insight into the interior designs for the St John’s Hospital staff wellbeing spaces and East and Midlothian CAMHS units.
- An introduction to new resources created to support staff enhance healthcare spaces – interior design guidelines and a surface design library
- Get an opportunity to discuss other hospital design improvements and how to use the tools to develop them.
