NHS Lothian Charity: Green Health and Tonic Arts Network Event 2024

We are delighted to invite members of our Green Health and Tonic Arts networks to our combined Green Health and Tonic Arts Network event, looking at how we use arts and greenspace to improve wellbeing in hospitals and health care settings across Lothian.

This in person event is free to attend and will be at the Royal Edinburgh Hospital, with a welcome to set the scene for the afternoon and some lunch – which will be provided.

You will then have the opportunity to take part in a range of workshops where you will work with other network members to share your experiences and develop your learning.

Workshops include:

  • Natural connection: How we use nature to improve patient and staff wellbeing
  • Creative collections: An introduction to the Tonic Arts collection and how creative engagement can impact wellbeing
  • Telling impactful stories: Using film and other media in healthcare settings to tell impactful stories
  • Unlocking your potential: Using your interest in arts and greenspace to fulfil your personal and professional potential
  • Securing funding and resources: Making your ideas a reality and getting the money and resources to achieve them

Workshop numbers are limited, so please make sure you choose both a Block One and Block Two workshop when booking your place.
