Our Tonic Arts Programme aims to creatively enhance environments and enrich experiences across NHS Lothian. A key part of this is the management of a large and diverse collection. We’re seeking volunteers to help support us to do this.
Current Opportunities:
Art Collection Volunteers
We are looking for volunteers to help manage our art collection on display across NHS Lothian sites, checking and recording the condition of the artworks, frames and interpretation panels. For those interested there will also be a chance to combine this with work to support patient and staff engagement activities such as art walks and talks.
As an Art Collection Volunteer, you’ll help to:
- Preserve our amazing art collection.
- Engage people with art in hospital environments.
We are looking for long term volunteers but the minimum commitment is 6 months, minimum 2 hours per week. Training is provided and you will be very well supported. Out of pocket expenses will be covered.
