Collections: Tonic Arts Purchase Prize
Our Tonic Arts Purchase prize supports new emerging talent as well as enriching diversity within our Tonic Collection. The exceptional works are displayed at NHS Lothian sites for everyone to enjoy.
2026 Purchase Prize Winners:
Three new artworks have joined the Tonic Arts collection following the award of purchase prizes at the Edinburgh College of Art Degree Show, RSA New Contemporaries and RSA Annual Exhibition.
The selected works by Poppy Morgan, Ellis Bairstow and Brianna Tosswill will be displayed across NHS Lothian sites, helping to create welcoming healthcare environments that support wellbeing, reflection and connection for patients, visitors and staff.

2025 Purchase Prize Winner:
The recipient of our Tonic Arts Purchase Prize at the Royal Scottish Academy New Contemporaries 2025 exhibition was Tallulah Batley, with five purchases from her ‘Pink Parlour Prints Series’. Tallulah is pictured above, with three of the prints purchased shown below.
